SELF-GUIDED PRACTICE
How to practice
- Stand in a safe place with feet about hip-width apart and knees unlocked.
- Let the arms rest naturally and keep the gaze soft, open, and steady.
- Feel the soles of the feet: heels, balls of the feet, toes, and contact with the ground.
- Notice how weight shifts through ankles, knees, hips, spine, shoulders, neck, and head.
- Allow small sways; treat them as balance information rather than mistakes.
- Keep breathing naturally while sensing the whole body standing as one connected posture.
- If you feel fatigue, pain, or instability, sit down and continue with feet on the floor.
- Finish by taking one mindful step or by sitting slowly while staying aware of movement.
Stay comfortable. You can stop at any time or return to your natural breath.
