SELF-GUIDED PRACTICE
How to practice
- Sit, stand, or lie down in a safe position before beginning.
- Inhale through the nose until the lungs feel mostly full, without straining.
- Before exhaling, take a second small sip of air through the nose to gently top up the inhale.
- Exhale slowly through the mouth until the lungs feel comfortably empty.
- Let the shoulders, jaw, and belly soften during the long exhale.
- Repeat one to five rounds, pausing between rounds if you feel lightheaded.
- Use this as a short reset, then return to natural breathing rather than forcing a long session.
Stay comfortable. You can stop at any time or return to your natural breath.
