SELF-GUIDED PRACTICE
How to practice
- Sit or stand with both feet making clear contact with the floor.
- Keep the eyes open and let the room stay visible in your peripheral vision.
- Press the toes down gently, then release, noticing that the floor remains steady.
- Feel the heels, balls of the feet, outer edges, inner arches, and toes one area at a time.
- Shift weight slightly forward, back, left, and right, then return to center.
- Notice the floor pressing back into the feet and supporting the legs and spine.
- Name one thing you can see while continuing to feel your feet.
- Repeat for two to five minutes, especially when you need a fast external anchor.
Stay comfortable. You can stop at any time or return to your natural breath.
